OPENING & CLOSING

* Don't leave dishes out- even to dry. Dry by hand and put away if necessary. 

* Do not place garbage or debris outside of hard bodied trash receptacle- especially grocery bags filled with garbage. Take all garbage allllll the way to the alley.

* Turn on ALL lights, including decorative lights and aromatherapy when opening

* Double check locks on all inner and outer doors before leaving 

* Do not let stock, of any kind, run to empty. (toilet paper rolls, hand towels, tea, coffee, snacks, supplies of all kind).

* Clean, restock and tidy as you go. 

 

Births, Tuesdays & Wednesdays (clinic days)

A. 

  1. Walk parameter of property and pick up all garbage. Around house, sidewalk, our side of the parking lot (and major from the overhang part of the parking)
  2. Unlock alley gate and back property gate
  3. Check ALL garbage receptacles, take out as needed and put in new liners
  4. Turn on open sign
  5. Turn on ALL lights, including bathroom, hallways, stairway decorative lamps, salt lamps and lamps in fireplace

B.

  1. Clean/check bathrooms downstairs bathrooms
  2. Dust all surfaces
  3. Check toilet paper and supplies- refill as needed
  4. Make sure floor is clean, especially around toilet
  5. Polish all chrome (furniture in the front room, front birth room, dispensers, handles, etc…)
  6. Log med fridge temp in temp log

C.

  1. Clean/check all light switch plates, knob and handle areas, chrome finishes and inner door windows. Clean and polish as needed~ including kitchen sink. 
  2. Check hostess table. Replenish as needed. Set out fresh fruit. 
  3. Check ice machine, fill water to line

D.

  1. Clean upstairs bathroom- Dust all surfaces, check toilet paper and supplies- refill as needed, make sure floor is clean, especially around toilet, polish all chrome. 
  2. Super clean stairs. 
  3. Set up sign-in sheet

E.

  1. Check water bottles, replace if needed. Full go on top of fridge. Empties go on the outside staircase on the west side of the building
  2. Tidy kitchen
  3. Wipe down eating table 
  4. Make sure back hallway is clear

CLOSE

  1. Pick up all debris, food and dishes (dry and put away)
  2. Empty and take out all garbage allll the way to the alley
  3. Fill ice machine with water
  4. Check bathrooms and tidy and wipe down as needed
  5. Lock med, hazard and upstairs storage closet doors
  6. Make sure that back door and the outer office door are both locked
  7. Turn sign to closed

Opening on M, W, Th, F, S, S
or single person open

  1. Turn on open sign
  2. Turn on ALL lights, including bathroom, decorative lamps, salt lamps and lamps in fireplace
  3. Fill ice machine with water to fill line if needed
  4. Check hostess stand and replenish as needed. Set out fresh fruit. 

Non-Clinic Day Closing

  1. Clean up all debris, food and dishes (dry and put away)
  2. Fill ice machine with water to fill line if needed
  3. Turn off all lights except angel light
  4. Take garbage to alley
  5. Lock med, hazard and upstairs storage closet doors
  6. Make sure that back door and the outer office door are both locked
  7. Turn sign to CLOSED
